Welcome to the all new Vloggi for teams

If you work as a team in your brand marketing, then you will know how useful it is to collaborate on content campaigns. 

Video content creation is no different. That is the reason behind the latest updates to the world-leading user-generated video platform Vloggi. 

Vloggi is now available for free for casual users, meaning small teams can work on small crowdsourcing projects with their community or customers. 

We have also introduced a new campaign tier for organisations across multiple locations with integrated teams. For this new tier (as well as our standard Community tier) we have added more reporting, more integrations and some new smart flows. 

Our CTO Jeremy Giraudet has spearheaded the upgrade to the platform with all new features. These updates will continue to make your experience with Planning, Uploading, Merging or Publishing user-generated video campaigns easier and more collaborative.

Single view of your video contributions

New Vloggi dashboard

 

Vloggi Studio has been upgraded to include a new dashboard view of all your video contributions. 

From here you can view:

  • the total number of page views your customised upload landing page has received
  • the number of clips uploaded by your community
  • a snapshot of the clip location
  • top rated clips, based on votes by your teammates 

The key metrics displayed are accompanied by an easier way to share with your community. Hit the share button to see the new options.

Easier to share Vloggi projects with embed

We’ve made it even easier to share your Vloggi crowdsourced video projects.

If you are sourcing video from your customers, your colleagues or your community, there’s an option for you. 

  • Custom URL – ideal for sharing the upload link via social media, text message or in an email
  • QR code – ideal for physical marketing promotions, like posters, flyers or stickers. 
  • Website embed code – ideal for ongoing crowdsourcing campaigns. The Vloggi upload widget appears within your own website, no sending your customers off your site.
  • API integration – ideal for larger organisations who want to embed the Vloggi video automation into existing customer feedback workflows.

Easier team management

Manage teams in Vloggi

Collaboration works better as a team. That’s why we made team management even easier in the new version of Vloggi Studio. 

In our paid tiers, you can add colleagues to your team, allowing you to work across locations on then same project.

Admins have the right to add new colleagues and change the team name. Other features include:

  • Voting – all members of your team can favourite video clips, making sorting the wheat from the chaff easier
  • Logo – anyone authorised by admins can add a team logo
  • High definition – any registered user of a paid tier can now download clips in 720P HD format or as clean footage

Enhanced clip management

Tag your Vloggi project

As the size of crowdsourced video projects grows, managing the content becomes all the more important. 

Regular users of Vloggi requested better tagging options to enable them to quickly group content by theme. Sorting options now include: 

  • Custom tags – for industry or company-specific projects or those with jargon
  • Common image tags – sort your clips by vertical video, square or landscape to make your finished video compilation smoother
  • Date – date and time of upload is automatically captured in the content management system
  • Location – user uploaded video clips usually contain a location meta data tag, which is displayed if available
  • Favourited clips – sort just those clips that have grabbed your attention or those of your team
  • Moderation – quickly hide any inappropriate content or just plain awful footage, to make your curation easier

 

New reporting tools

New reporting features from Vloggi

If you run crowdsourced video campaigns, you need to ensure you’re getting return-on-investment. We’ve introduced new campaign reporting features into Vloggi Studio to help you track your campaigns.

You can download the report as a comma separated values (CSV) spreadsheet to integrate into your marketing and EDM software. 

Exportable fields include: 

  • Contributor name
  • Contributor email (optional)
  • Contributor location (optional)
  • Contributor responses to custom question (optional)
  • Video data, such as time, date and other meta data (for paid tiers only)
