Vloggi launches public video contests and galleries built for audience participation

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

New multilingual campaigns let organizations collect audience videos, showcase approved entries and invite the public to vote, comment and engage

SYDNEY, Australia — 12 July 2026 — User-generated video leader Vloggi has launched a new generation of public video contests and galleries, giving organizations a simple way to turn audience contributions into visible, participatory campaigns.

The new release allows brands, media companies and community organizations to invite video submissions in multiple languages, curate the strongest entries and publish them in public galleries where audiences can browse, vote and comment.

“Video contests should create a sense of participation, not disappear into an upload form,” said Justin Wastnage, founder and CEO of Vloggi. “Our new galleries bring contributors, audiences and campaign organisers together. People can share their stories, discover other entries and help choose the videos they love.”

From video collection to public campaign

Vloggi’s new contest experience connects the full campaign journey—from the first call for entries to the public showcase.

Contributors can record or upload their videos through a branded campaign page. Organizers can review and approve submissions before publishing selected entries to a public gallery.

Once live, visitors can browse the approved videos, vote for their favorites, leave comments and report unsuitable content. This turns a one-way collection exercise into an active campaign capable of building conversation, repeat visits and community involvement.

The galleries are designed for campaigns such as customer competitions, fan challenges, community storytelling projects, tourism promotions, employee contests and creative calls for entries.

Built-in moderation and campaign control

Public participation does not mean giving up control.

Organizers decide which videos appear in a gallery and can manage voting, comments, reports and other public interactions through Vloggi’s moderation tools. Only approved display information and public playback assets are exposed through the gallery.

This allows teams to create open and engaging experiences while protecting campaign quality, contributor information and brand reputation.

“Organizations want the energy and authenticity of audience participation, but they also need to know what will appear under their name,” said Wastnage. “Vloggi gives them both: a lively public campaign backed by practical moderation and publishing controls.”

Multilingual contests for wider participation

Campaign organisers can now offer contributor upload journeys in multiple languages, making contests more accessible to international audiences and diverse communities.

Instead of forcing every participant through an English-only experience, organizations can create a clearer and more welcoming submission process for contributors in different markets.

The capability is particularly valuable for global brand campaigns, tourism initiatives, multicultural community programs and organisations collecting stories across several countries or language groups.

Consent captured from the beginning

Vloggi has also expanded the consent and legal controls supporting its contests.

Organisations can define content ownership terms, privacy information, legal disclosures and additional contributor declarations at either team or project level. These are presented during the upload journey and retained as part of the consent record.

This gives campaign teams a clearer account of what each contributor accepted when submitting their video and helps ensure selected entries can be used beyond the contest itself.

“Great audience campaigns depend on trust,” said Wastnage. “Contributors should understand how their videos may be used, organisers should have a record of permission, and audiences should know that what they are seeing has been deliberately selected and published.”

Turning contributors into a community

The release reflects Vloggi’s evolution from a video collection platform into a complete participation and publishing environment.

By combining multilingual submissions, public galleries, audience voting, comments, reporting, moderation and contributor consent, Vloggi enables organisations to run video contests without stitching together separate collection, legal and engagement systems.

The new features are now live across Vloggi’s Upload, Studio and Contest products.
