This Multi-Regional Data Hosting Policy (“Policy”) describes where Customer Data can be hosted by Vloggi Pty Ltd (“Vloggi”) for eligible customers. This Policy forms an integral part of the Vloggi Terms of Service (“Terms”).
As of [Insert Date], Vloggi operates three primary regional data centers (“Data Centers”) located in:
Sydney, Australia (APACDC) – for Asia-Pacific customers (operated on Amazon Web Services cloud infrastructure)
Strasbourg, France (EUDC) – for European Union customers (operated on OVHcloud infrastrcture)
Virginia, United States (USDC) – for customers in the Americas (operated on Amazon Web Services cloud infrastructure)
Additional regions may be launched in the future to expand hosting options.
Please read this Policy carefully before using our Services to understand where your Customer Data may be hosted.
(a) All capitalized terms used but not otherwise defined in this Policy will have the meaning given to them in the Terms.
(b) Additional terms used in this Policy will have the following meanings:
“Exclusions” means the Services and related processing of Customer Data not covered by this Policy and which may occur outside of the Region, as described in Section 3 below.
“Hosting” or “Hosted” means the storing, hosting, or replicating of Customer Data, including for archival and backup purposes.
“Process” or “Processing” means any operation or set of operations performed on data, whether or not by automated means.
“Region” means the geographic area where your Customer Data is primarily hosted within Vloggi’s cloud infrastructure.
(c) The Data Centers listed above are part of Vloggi’s Services and all Terms apply. In the event of conflict between this Policy and the Terms, this Policy will prevail.
(d) This Policy does not apply to:
Customer Data hosted on your own servers;
Customer Data processed in connection with beta features; or
Customer Data processed by third-party providers integrated with Vloggi’s Services.
(a) Europe (EUDC)
If you are located in the European Union (based on IP or country selection at sign-up), your Customer Data will be hosted in Strasbourg, France on OVHcloud infrastructure. For these accounts, Customer Data will not transit through or be stored in US-based infrastructure.
(b) Asia-Pacific (APACDC)
If you are located in the Asia-Pacific region, your Customer Data will be hosted in Sydney, Australia.
(c) Americas (USDC)
If you are located in North or South America, your Customer Data will be hosted in Virginia, United States.
(d) Future Regions
Vloggi may introduce additional Data Centers in other geographic regions. Customers may be given the option to select a preferred Region when creating their account.
Customer Data may be processed outside of the Region in the following cases:
(a) Customer Support – Vloggi personnel may process Customer Data outside the Region to provide technical support.
(b) Security & Compliance – Data may be processed outside the Region to investigate security incidents or suspected policy violations.
(c) User Access – If you access your account from outside the Region, your Customer Data may be transferred or accessed from that location.
(d) Sub-processors – Vloggi uses trusted Sub-processors. By using our Services, you agree that Customer Data may be processed where Sub-processors operate, subject to Vloggi’s data protection commitments.
You acknowledge and agree that while your Customer Data may be primarily hosted in the selected Region:
Certain processing activities may occur outside the Region, including by Sub-processors operating globally.
Accessing your account from outside the Region may result in Customer Data being transferred to or viewed from that location.
Vloggi makes no representation that hosting in a given Region by itself satisfies your regulatory obligations.
You remain solely responsible for ensuring your compliance with applicable laws.
For EU customers specifically: Customer Data hosted in the Strasbourg (OVHcloud) region is designed to remain within the EU and not touch US infrastructure, except where explicitly authorized under the Exclusions in Section 3.
Vloggi may update this Policy at any time by posting a revised version on our website. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this Policy and may also notify you via email. Unless otherwise stated, the updated Policy takes effect immediately.
Your continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Services
