Media release – Introducing Vloggi version 3

MEDIA RELEASE – The easiest video crowdsourcing platform just got even easier.

Major update to video collaboration platform includes:

  • Video automation for listicles, diaries and more
  • QR codes to invite your community to upload
  • Browser-based smart video uploader tool
  • Video templates for consistent branding
  • Content management for every project

Sydney, 1 October 2020 – Video collaboration platform Vloggi has unveiled a major new release of its award-winning video crowdsourcing software Vloggi.

Version 3 of the platform builds on customer feedback and reviews to deliver increased functionality within a new new, intuitive user interface. Completely rebuilt during the Coronavirus pandemic, the new platform replaces an open video library with closed, community-based crowdsourcing projects.

“The changes to the platform are all based on extensive customer research in 2019 and into early 2020 that reinforced the key features that people loved, namely of being able to source video clips from colleagues, customers or the wider community and stitch them together into professional looking templates without the need for video editors,” said Vloggi founder and CEO https://vloggi.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/Download-an-invoice-jpg.webp Wastnage.

Video automation for listicles, diaries and more

The new Vloggi include video automation including the video diary tool to sequence crowdsourced clips by date and time.

Also included in this release is the Video List maker for listicles and numbered content like a step-by-step How to video.

You can even make a video list like Six of the Best, 10 shots or any other snackable list-style video story.

QR codes to invite your community to upload

Often physical businesses need a poster to advertise a crowdsourced video project. So in version 3 of Vloggi, we have introduced QR codes for every project. So no matter how you incentivise your audience, there is either a link or QR code to make it easy for them to find your upload page.

New browser-based video uploader tool

One of the consistent feedback we got was that people who knew Vloggi loved the app, but those running crowdsourcing contests found it to be a barrier. So we listened and replaced the app with a super-intuitive browser-based video uploader. It still has all the same features, like automatic location detection and caption integrator. But now it can be accessed anonymously by anyone, anywhere, any time.
