Lights, action, woof!

Pupsy is a digital platform for dog owners to find, book and review dog-friendly places across Australia. With over 15,000 subscribers, Pupsy allows dog owners to choose from thousands of dog-friendly cafés, bars and wineries to visit, book dog-friendly accommodation, explore off-leash parks and beaches, and much more.

The Challenge

Pupsy wanted to find cost-effective ways to reach new audiences and found it challenging to create new content for their platform. Pupsy knew their audience loved taking videos and photos of their dogs and saw a new content production pipeline to tap into. All they had to do was inspire the parents of pets to share videos of their cute pooches and their personal experiences with Pupsy.

The Solution

Pupsy used Vloggi to crowdsource video clips from its community of dog-owners and compile them into destination guides and venue reviews. Pupsy created three video series to make instant video reviews of every listing to embed on their website:
  • Dog-Friendly Parks & Walks
  • Dog-Friendly Beaches
  • Dog Friendly Bars & Cafés
Pupsy even produced highlight reels for sharing across social media platforms and created competitions around this campaign to encourage more uploads.

The Result

With the ability to generate videos at scale, Pupsy has managed to create a strong sense of community through fun and engaging content that could act as a guide to new and existing members.
“We chose Vloggi as it’s a fast and easy way for our members to upload their clips and then easy for us to create great looking, fun and engaging video stories without needing any video editing skills, and for very little cost”
