Vloggi helps organisations collect videos and related information directly from contributors. The organisation running a project decides what information to collect, why it needs it and how long to keep it. Vloggi processes that information on the organisation’s behalf.
Submissions can include video, audio, images, answers and technical details such as timestamps and IP addresses. Project owners configure the collection and remain responsible for their use of the information.
Vloggi uses Amazon Web Services infrastructure, encrypted connections, access controls and activity logging. Its approach supports privacy principles such as collecting only necessary data and using it for the stated purpose. Contributors should direct privacy requests to the project owner; Vloggi provides tools and support to help owners respond.
This overview explains the platform’s safeguards and responsibilities. It is not a certification or a guarantee that every customer’s use complies with the law. Read it alongside the Privacy Policy, Data Processing Addendum and hosting policy for the detailed arrangements.

Data & compliance
1. Platform role
Vloggi is a cloud-based video collection and production platform.
Project Owners (clients) act as data controllers
Vloggi acts as a data processor providing infrastructure and tooling
Contributors submit content and data directly to the Project Owner via the platform
Vloggi does not determine the purpose or use of Contributor data.

2. Data handling model
Vloggi is designed to support controlled, client-defined data collection, including:
User-generated video, audio and images
Metadata (timestamps, device, IP address)
Structured inputs (forms, questions, zero-party data)
Clients define:
what data is collected
how it is used
how long it is retained
3. Zero-party data architecture
Vloggi supports the collection of zero-party data, where Contributors voluntarily provide information directly to the client.
Data fields are configured by the Project Owner
Vloggi does not use this data for its own purposes
Data is processed solely on behalf of the client

Vloggi is built on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure.
