Vloggi: crowdsource human-generated video footage with permission to put it to work.

SOLUTION · Audience & fan campaigns

The footage already exists. Give it a destination.

Your customers, fans and community already film your products and experiences. Give them one branded place to share the original footage, their details and the permissions your business needs. Build a searchable video library for marketing and production—with a call-out, an ongoing collection or a contest.

THE PROBLEM

Your best product footage is trapped on someone else’s phone.

Customers capture your product in real life, but the videos stay in their camera rolls—or disappear into social feeds. Your team ends up sending DMs, chasing original files and asking for permission in separate messages. A great clip is little use when you cannot find its creator, confirm the intended reuse or keep the clearance with the footage.

THE SOLUTION

Collect the footage and the rights in one journey.

Share a branded upload link. Contributors send their original videos, supply useful details and accept the content assignment and any campaign-specific declarations before submission. The footage and consent record arrive together. Add a prize, gallery or voting when useful; you do not need a contest to build a valuable library.

THE WORKFLOW

From invitation to useful output.

01

Invite the footage you need.

Ask customers to show your product in action, fans to share an experience or your community to contribute a story. Use a simple call-out or ongoing collection; add a contest and incentive when they suit the campaign.

02

Collect footage and permission together.

Collect original files from contributors’ devices, together with the details your team needs. Name the legal entity receiving the rights, present the Content Assignment Agreement and capture acceptance of any additional campaign declarations.

03

Review, showcase and reuse.

Search and tag your library, build shortlists and review the connected consent records. Download selected footage for your production team, create branded compilations or showcase approved entries in an optional public gallery.

PARTICIPATION TO LIBRARY

Example public video gallery with multiple contributor entries
Fictional details

One collection. More ways to activate it.

Start with a private library of original customer footage. When participation benefits from a public showcase, add a moderated gallery, voting or a contest. Contributors can share the campaign and inspire more entries, while your team keeps tags, shortlists and permissions organized behind the scenes.

YOUR QUESTIONS

Crowdsourcing video footage FAQs

What permission is recorded with the video?

The submission links the contributor’s acceptance of the Content Assignment Agreement with their video and consent record. You can add a separate campaign declaration and link your own full terms. This replaces a disconnected DM or email chase with a structured submission process. Additional declarations do not substitute for third-party rights the contributor does not hold.

Is Vloggi a video editor or a business collection platform?

Vloggi is a business video collection and reuse platform. It gathers footage from your contributors, keeps context and permissions connected, and supports review, automatic branded outputs and handover. Use it alongside your editing tools when a project needs detailed creative editing.

Do I need to run a contest or public gallery?

No. A branded call-out or ongoing upload link can collect footage privately without prizes, voting or a public gallery. Contests are one way to encourage participation, not a requirement.

Can suppliers co-sponsor an incentive?

Yes. A campaign can feature supplier-supported prizes or co-sponsorship. Make the sponsor roles and applicable declarations clear to contributors.

Can contributors upload several existing videos?

Yes. Depending on project settings, contests can accept up to eight entries. This differs from Conversations, which requires new camera recordings for its prompts.

Does contributor consent clear music and other third-party content?

Not automatically. Use appropriate additional declarations and review the rights needed for your intended use, including any music or other content in an entry.
