Project
A collection workspace with its own submission workflow, form, contributor data, library and output settings.
Submission and clip
A submission is one completed contribution. Depending on the workflow, it can contain one clip or several files. A clip is an individual video in the Project Video Library.
Submission workflow
Contribution collects one uploaded or recorded video; Collection collects several files; Capture records one prompted response; Conversation records two to eight responses; Compliance organizes structured visual evidence.
Contributor data
Information collected alongside footage, such as a name, department or category. Some fields are collected once per contributor and others can be clip-specific.
Dataset
A structured table used to provide lookup values and related information for contributor fields.
Tag and favorite
Tags categorize clips for searching and filtering. Favorites provide a quick shortlist.
Video Template Builder
The project tool for visual branding and overlays. Static text or artwork stays the same; dynamic text uses contributor or clip data. A report alias identifies a configured data field for use in reports or supported dynamic expressions.
Clean, Branded, Raw original and Preview
Clean is processed video without project branding overlays. Branded applies the project template. Raw original is the unmodified supplied file. Preview is optimized for reviewing in Studio.
Aspect ratio
The shape of the video canvas: 16:9 widescreen, 9:16 vertical or 1:1 square. This is separate from resolution, which describes pixel dimensions.
Compilation
A combined video assembled from selected clips. Generated outputs are found in Compilations & Downloads.
Feature clip and Public Video Gallery
A featured clip is an example for the submission experience. A Public Video Gallery is an optional viewer-facing showcase configured separately from the private project library.
Submission ID and consent record
The submission ID identifies the contribution. The consent record is a separate reference associated with the recorded acceptance. Review available details in the clip viewer and the Contributor Data & Consent Report.
