Vloggi brings together the contributor’s given name, IP address and signed consent in the submission record. Together, these demonstrate the reasonable steps taken by the Project Owner to obtain and record the contributor’s name for attribution.
A connected attribution and consent record
The contributor supplies their name and accepts the consent agreement as part of submission. Vloggi keeps the available technical information and acceptance details connected to that submission, giving your team a record of who supplied the footage and the name they provided for attribution.
Where it appears in Studio
Collect → Contributor Data lists IP Address (hidden field) under General Information. Contributors do not need to type this value into a visible question.
Open a clip in Curate → Project Video Library and inspect its Contributor data, consent details and Device data. Keep the submission and consent identifiers with your attribution records. Available detail can differ for older submissions and collection methods.
Use the given name for attribution
Use the contributor-name smart field in Video Template Builder when you want their name on the finished video. This connects the credit to the name supplied during the consent process. The combined record documents your collection steps; it is not a separate identity-verification service.
Keep supporting data private
Names intended for credit can appear in the output. Keep IP addresses and other supporting technical records within the authorized project team rather than adding them to public overlays.
